GENESIS

Kendriya Vidyalaya is located in Balaghat Bhaweli, between the charming splendor of nature and the hills away from the city's bustle, which is spread over 14 acres of land.

Dear Students, Teachers, and Parents,
On the momentous occasion of Foundation Day 2024 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), I extend my heartfelt greetings to each one of you. From its humble beginnings in 1963, KVS has grown into an inspiring institution of excellence in school education. This remarkable journey continues to evolve, driven by an unwavering spirit of innovation and progress.

For students to fly high in the unlimited sky, there should be an effort to bring education in the right direction with right values in various fields. Children must be prepared to face the problems and challenges of this complex world. They should have tolerance, compassion and sympathy for the weak. We live in a world where there is enough information, but the ability to understand and gain it in beneficial way comes from education. We have been entrusted with the role of administrator, teacher and advisor to fulfil this vision and very difficult mission in the institutions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Our endeavour is to make education enjoyable and meaningful. We strive to incorporate educational changes, integrate technology, develop critical thought skills, generate a quest for knowledge. Rising high is human nature but without proper training in human values, we may not be able to give them wings for independent flight. Science and spirituality should be harmoniously blended to make the youth perfect for national service and development. It is my belief that with the right approach and concerted work, Jabalpur Regional Office will develop a force to reckon and pursue excellence, which is difficult and not impossible. In Mom ‘s words, “One must always strive for perfection and the specific level of perfection today does ‘t matter today because one reaches at least one step tomorrow.”

In words of Warren Bennis, "The organizations of the future will increasingly depend on the creativity of their members to survive…" It is, in the interplanetary era, rendered inevitable to be a versatile genius for everyone which is why skill development right at the outset of schooling is being immensely accentuated. It is very appositely quoted that creative thinking is not a talent; it is a skill that can be learnt and nurtured. It empowers people by adding strength to their innate abilities. We, in PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Balaghat, ascertain strengthening skills of students so as to prepare them combat the upcoming challenges and have always endeavoured to uphold the more than half a century old tradition of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan of quality education in an inclusive manner. The Vidyalaya produced 100 % result in science stream whereas commerce stream’s result was 100 %. The overall % of class XII 100 %. Ku. Diya Agrawal topped the Vidyalaya with 95 %. The result of class X is also 100 %. Ku. Rishika Choudhary topped with 97.2 %.. We as a team at KV Balaghat have always endeavoured to give quality education with more emphasis on enhancement of life-skills. It’s not only in the classroom that transaction takes place, this also is rendered through various activities and Adolescent Education Programme (AEP). No stone is left unturned to ensure that the children are prepared to face the challenges when they go out without falling prey to any vicious distractions and prove their might in all the fields of competitions.
